# Fruit Eater! vs Hole Puzzle

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Fruit Eater! at 50% against Hole Puzzle's 0%. Fruit Eater! also leads on update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (12.5 vs 14.0). Hole Puzzle's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (115 vs 19). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fruit Eater! sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Hole Puzzle sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hole Puzzle holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hole Puzzle has 115 ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Fruit Eater!'s written reviews are positive against 0% of Hole Puzzle's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fruit Eater! ships an update weekly, Hole Puzzle fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
