# Linkself vs FutureNote

The clearest difference is update cadence: FutureNote at weekly against Linkself's fortnightly. FutureNote also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Linkself sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and FutureNote sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Linkself ships an update fortnightly, FutureNote weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 13, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
