# Maxima Curve vs ZDRing

The clearest difference is update cadence: ZDRing at every 5 weeks against Maxima Curve's every 6 months. Maxima Curve's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Maxima Curve ships an update every 6 months, ZDRing every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
