# EasyNote vs Notepad

The clearest difference is update cadence: Notepad at every 2 months against EasyNote's every 5 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EasyNote sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month and Notepad sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

EasyNote ships an update every 5 months, Notepad every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
