# Frequency Generator vs EQU

The clearest difference is rating: EQU at 4.6 against Frequency Generator's 4.4. Frequency Generator's advantage is review sentiment (47% vs 33%). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Frequency Generator sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and EQU sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

EQU holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 475 and 201 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of Frequency Generator's written reviews are positive against 33% of EQU's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
