# Vampire vs The Pathless

The clearest difference is rating: Vampire at 4.7 against The Pathless's 4.3. Vampire also leads on price ($4.99 vs $9.99) and chart position (#195 vs unranked). The Pathless's advantage is review sentiment (64% vs 42%). On ratings volume, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Vampire costs $4.99 and The Pathless $9.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Vampire holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 66 and 43 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of Vampire's written reviews are positive against 64% of The Pathless's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
