# Planner vs Taskit

The clearest difference is ads: Planner at none against Taskit's shown. Planner also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Planner sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month and Taskit sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Planner ships an update every 3 days, Taskit every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
