# Uplock vs WizardNote

The clearest difference is update cadence: Uplock at every 9 days against WizardNote's monthly. Uplock also leads on device support (5 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Uplock sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and WizardNote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Uplock ships an update every 9 days, WizardNote monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
