# Notes vs Steadify

The clearest difference is ads: Notes at none against Steadify's shown. Notes also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Steadify's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Notes ships an update every 4 months, Steadify every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
