# e vs SonicSnap

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: e at none against SonicSnap's 1. e also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). SonicSnap's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SonicSnap sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. e asks for nothing beyond the download.

e ships an update every 2 months, SonicSnap every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
