# Box Head vs Pulsarc

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pulsarc at weekly against Box Head's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Box Head sells 39 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Pulsarc sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Box Head ships an update monthly, Pulsarc weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
