# FivePointFive vs ISRU

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: ISRU at none against FivePointFive's 5. ISRU also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 18.6). FivePointFive's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (4.9K vs 14). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FivePointFive sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $44.99 per 3 months. ISRU asks for nothing beyond the download.

FivePointFive holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FivePointFive has 4.9K ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of FivePointFive's written reviews are positive against 65% of ISRU's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FivePointFive ships an update every 5 days, ISRU every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
