# FivePointFive vs Kotcha

The clearest difference is rating: FivePointFive at 4.8 against Kotcha's 4.5. FivePointFive also leads on ratings volume (5.1K vs 252) and chart position (#110 vs unranked). Kotcha's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 58%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FivePointFive sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $44.99 per 3 months and Kotcha sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FivePointFive holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FivePointFive has 5.1K ratings behind it against 252, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of FivePointFive's written reviews are positive against 75% of Kotcha's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FivePointFive ships an update every 4 days, Kotcha weekly. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
