# FivePointFive vs Purpose

FivePointFive and Purpose both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 75% of Purpose's written reviews are positive against 58% of FivePointFive's. Purpose also leads on iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.6). FivePointFive's advantage is ratings volume (5.1K vs 447). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FivePointFive sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $44.99 per 3 months and Purpose sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for FivePointFive against 4.9 for Purpose. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FivePointFive has 5.1K ratings behind it against 447, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 58% of FivePointFive's written reviews are positive against 75% of Purpose's.

FivePointFive ships an update every 4 days, Purpose weekly. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
