# FivePointFive vs Pactive

FivePointFive and Pactive both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 94% of Pactive's written reviews are positive against 59% of FivePointFive's. Pactive also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.6). FivePointFive's advantage is ratings volume (5.2K vs 28) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FivePointFive sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $44.99 per 3 months and Pactive sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.19 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for FivePointFive against 4.9 for Pactive. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FivePointFive has 5.2K ratings behind it against 28, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 59% of FivePointFive's written reviews are positive against 94% of Pactive's.

FivePointFive ships an update every 4 days, Pactive every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
