# sidelineHD vs PRV8

The clearest difference is rating: PRV8 at 5.0 against sidelineHD's 4.1. PRV8 also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). sidelineHD's advantage is ratings volume (81 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. sidelineHD sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and PRV8 sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PRV8 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: sidelineHD has 81 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

sidelineHD ships an update every 2 weeks, PRV8 weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
