# MyPass Elite vs Android TV Remote Control

The clearest difference is ads: MyPass Elite at none against Android TV Remote Control's shown. Android TV Remote Control's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MyPass Elite sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Android TV Remote Control sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MyPass Elite ships an update every 3 weeks, Android TV Remote Control weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
