# Tripfomo vs Flock

The clearest difference is ads: Tripfomo at none against Flock's shown. Tripfomo also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Flock's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tripfomo sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Flock sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tripfomo ships an update every 3 weeks, Flock weekly. Both last shipped on October 10, 2026.
