# Othaim+ vs Thanx

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Thanx at 67% against Othaim+'s 13%. Thanx also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Othaim+'s advantage is rating (2.4 vs 1.0) and ratings volume (8 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Othaim+ holds the better App Store score, 2.4 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Othaim+ has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of Othaim+'s written reviews are positive against 67% of Thanx's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Othaim+ ships an update monthly, Thanx every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 18, 2026 and September 14, 2026 respectively.
