# DestCert Exam Prep vs Skillweed Academy

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: DestCert Exam Prep at none against Skillweed Academy's 1. DestCert Exam Prep also leads on ratings volume (410 vs 2) and update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 3 months). Skillweed Academy's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Skillweed Academy sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. DestCert Exam Prep asks for nothing beyond the download.

Skillweed Academy holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DestCert Exam Prep has 410 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

DestCert Exam Prep ships an update every 4 weeks, Skillweed Academy every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
