# Blodey vs Beast Smash

The clearest difference is rating: Beast Smash at 4.5 against Blodey's 4.1. Beast Smash also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Beast Smash holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 54 and 71 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of Blodey's written reviews are positive against 75% of Beast Smash's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Blodey ships an update every 2 months, Beast Smash every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 21, 2026.
