# Sort By Rope vs Candy Sort Puzzle

The clearest difference is update cadence: Candy Sort Puzzle at every 2 months against Sort By Rope's every 18 months. Candy Sort Puzzle also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sort By Rope sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Candy Sort Puzzle sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sort By Rope ships an update every 18 months, Candy Sort Puzzle every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
