# Reverse Video vs FlipIt

The clearest difference is ads: FlipIt at none against Reverse Video's shown. FlipIt also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 25 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Reverse Video sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and FlipIt sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Reverse Video ships an update every 25 months, FlipIt fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
