# The Pathless vs Laser Tanks

The clearest difference is price: Laser Tanks at $0.29 against The Pathless's $9.99. The Pathless's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 3.4) and in-app purchases (none vs 4). On review sentiment, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

The Pathless costs $9.99 and Laser Tanks $0.29 up front. Laser Tanks sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. The Pathless asks for nothing beyond the download.

The Pathless holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Pathless has 44 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of The Pathless's written reviews are positive against 68% of Laser Tanks's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
