# Autobiographer vs Elefantia

The clearest difference is rating: Autobiographer at 4.0 against Elefantia's 1.0. Autobiographer also leads on ratings volume (53 vs 1). Elefantia's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and review sentiment (86% vs 64%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Autobiographer sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $16.00 per month and Elefantia sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Autobiographer holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Autobiographer has 53 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Autobiographer's written reviews are positive against 86% of Elefantia's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Autobiographer ships an update monthly, Elefantia weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
