# Laffan Store vs ClassMate

The clearest difference is update cadence: ClassMate at every 9 days against Laffan Store's every 4 months. ClassMate also leads on ratings volume (300 vs 5) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Laffan Store against 4.7 for ClassMate. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ClassMate has 300 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Laffan Store ships an update every 4 months, ClassMate every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
