# Sugar vs Netcreme

The clearest difference is rating: Netcreme at 5.0 against Sugar's 2.4. Netcreme also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 2 days). Sugar's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (10 vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Netcreme sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $10000.00 per year. Sugar asks for nothing beyond the download.

Netcreme holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sugar has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Sugar ships an update every 2 days, Netcreme daily. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and September 13, 2026 respectively.
