# PiGrill vs Devos

The clearest difference is update cadence: PiGrill at every 5 weeks against Devos's every 6 months. PiGrill also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). Devos's advantage is ratings volume (65 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PiGrill holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Devos has 65 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PiGrill ships an update every 5 weeks, Devos every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on September 20, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
