# Fermento vs ABI

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: ABI at none against Fermento's 4. ABI also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). Fermento's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fermento sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. ABI asks for nothing beyond the download.

Fermento ships an update monthly, ABI every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
