# SLauncher vs Ocean Dashboard

The clearest difference is monetization model: Ocean Dashboard at free against SLauncher's free with in-app purchases. SLauncher's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SLauncher sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 3 months and Ocean Dashboard sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
