# SuperSummary vs Study Shield

The clearest difference is monetization model: SuperSummary at free with in-app purchases against Study Shield's subscription. SuperSummary also leads on ratings volume (2.3K vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SuperSummary sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.95 per month and Study Shield sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Study Shield holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SuperSummary has 2.3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
