# LyricLink vs QR Code Scanner

The clearest difference is price: QR Code Scanner at Free against LyricLink's $0.99. QR Code Scanner also leads on rating (4.5 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (98 vs 2). LyricLink's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 8) and ads (none vs shown). On review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

QR Code Scanner is free to download; LyricLink costs $0.99 up front. QR Code Scanner sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. LyricLink asks for nothing beyond the download.

QR Code Scanner holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: QR Code Scanner has 98 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of LyricLink's written reviews are positive against 43% of QR Code Scanner's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
