# Credible vs AuthForge

The clearest difference is rating: AuthForge at 5.0 against Credible's 4.4. Credible's advantage is ratings volume (227 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Credible sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and AuthForge sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AuthForge holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Credible has 227 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Credible ships an update monthly, AuthForge every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
