# DLV Guide vs PinIQ

The clearest difference is rating: DLV Guide at 4.8 against PinIQ's 1.0. DLV Guide also leads on ratings volume (1.4K vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). PinIQ's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DLV Guide sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and PinIQ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DLV Guide holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DLV Guide has 1.4K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

DLV Guide ships an update fortnightly, PinIQ weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
