# AnimCreate vs Sketcha

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Sketcha at 13.0 against AnimCreate's 15.6. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AnimCreate sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.99 per year and Sketcha sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
