# AnimCreate vs Puracam

The clearest difference is update cadence: Puracam at every 3 days against AnimCreate's fortnightly. AnimCreate's advantage is iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AnimCreate sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.99 per year and Puracam sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AnimCreate ships an update fortnightly, Puracam every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
