# ProFace vs Failnote

The clearest difference is update cadence: ProFace at every 6 days against Failnote's every 12 months. Failnote's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ProFace sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Failnote sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ProFace ships an update every 6 days, Failnote every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
