# Pilot Logbook vs Aircrew Logbook

The clearest difference is rating: Aircrew Logbook at 5.0 against Pilot Logbook's 4.8. Pilot Logbook's advantage is ratings volume (21 vs 4). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pilot Logbook sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Aircrew Logbook sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $49.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Aircrew Logbook holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pilot Logbook has 21 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Pilot Logbook ships an update every 5 days, Aircrew Logbook every 4 days. Both last shipped on November 4, 2026.
