# DAYcomics vs Drawn Up

The clearest difference is rating: Drawn Up at 5.0 against DAYcomics's 3.1. Drawn Up also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). DAYcomics's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 10 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DAYcomics sells 12 one-off in-app purchases and Drawn Up sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Drawn Up holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DAYcomics has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

DAYcomics ships an update every 4 days, Drawn Up every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
