# Ruth vs Beso

The clearest difference is update cadence: Ruth at every 11 days against Beso's monthly. Beso's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ruth sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Beso sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ruth ships an update every 11 days, Beso monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
