# PlotShort vs HeatShort

The clearest difference is monetization model: PlotShort at free with in-app purchases against HeatShort's subscription. HeatShort's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (3.7 vs 3.3). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
