# Handoff Construction Estimator vs EmendoAI

The clearest difference is monetization model: Handoff Construction Estimator at free with in-app purchases against EmendoAI's subscription. Handoff Construction Estimator also leads on ratings volume (1.9K vs 14) and chart position (#112 vs unranked). EmendoAI's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 84%). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Handoff Construction Estimator sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $49.00 per month and EmendoAI sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

EmendoAI holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Handoff Construction Estimator has 1.9K ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 84% of Handoff Construction Estimator's written reviews are positive against 100% of EmendoAI's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
