# CBT Trainer vs StudyFetch

The clearest difference is review sentiment: StudyFetch at 33% against CBT Trainer's 0%. StudyFetch also leads on ratings volume (15K vs 4) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). CBT Trainer's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CBT Trainer sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and StudyFetch sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CBT Trainer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: StudyFetch has 15K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of CBT Trainer's written reviews are positive against 33% of StudyFetch's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CBT Trainer ships an update monthly, StudyFetch weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
