# CBT Trainer vs Pocket Vocal

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pocket Vocal at every 2 days against CBT Trainer's monthly. CBT Trainer's advantage is iOS requirement (16.1 vs 26.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CBT Trainer sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and Pocket Vocal sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CBT Trainer ships an update monthly, Pocket Vocal every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
