# the waterfall vs Dayoo Pro

The clearest difference is rating: the waterfall at 5.0 against Dayoo Pro's 3.0. the waterfall also leads on ratings volume (5 vs 1). Dayoo Pro's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (16.6 vs 18.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. the waterfall sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Dayoo Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

the waterfall holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: the waterfall has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of the waterfall's written reviews are positive against 94% of Dayoo Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

the waterfall ships an update every 3 months, Dayoo Pro every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
