# eko vs SOHO Connect

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: eko at none against SOHO Connect's 3. eko also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (13 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SOHO Connect sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. eko asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for eko against 5.0 for SOHO Connect. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: eko has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

eko ships an update fortnightly, SOHO Connect every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
