# AWS vs EduGenNext

The clearest difference is update cadence: AWS at every 3 months against EduGenNext's every 11 months. AWS also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AWS sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and EduGenNext sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AWS ships an update every 3 months, EduGenNext every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
