# AWS vs AWS Knowledge Test

The clearest difference is update cadence: AWS Knowledge Test at every 5 weeks against AWS's every 3 months. AWS's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AWS sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and AWS Knowledge Test sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AWS ships an update every 3 months, AWS Knowledge Test every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
