# Firsty vs weRate

The clearest difference is ads: weRate at none against Firsty's shown. weRate also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 65%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Firsty's advantage is ratings volume (699 vs 7) and chart position (#190 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

weRate holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Firsty has 699 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 65% of Firsty's written reviews are positive against 100% of weRate's.

Firsty ships an update weekly, weRate every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
