# Atomic vs Nexter

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Atomic at 34 against Nexter's 2. Nexter's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 weeks). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Atomic sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Nexter sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Atomic against 5.0 for Nexter. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Atomic has 34 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 90% of Atomic's written reviews are positive against 91% of Nexter's.

Atomic ships an update every 2 weeks, Nexter weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
